Subhash is a PhD candidate with a material science background working in material informatics which tends to be the intersection of materials science and cutting-edge data-driven approaches. His passion also lies in exploring new trends in machine learning and applying them. Apart from academics, he likes reading books, listening to music, and watching movies.

Lukas is a materials science student with a preference for new challenges in technology and artificial intelligence research. Towards the end of his studies, he would like to successfully complete his Master's thesis here at the chair. In addition to his studies, he is the first spokesperson for the engineering student council, enjoys cooking and hiking.

Punith is a Biofabrication Master‘s student and mainly focuses on Material Science. He has keen interest in Machine Learning and Data Science. He passionately explore the interdisciplinary fusion of Machine Learning and Material Science, working to bridge the gap between these dynamic fields. Aside academics, he loves traveling and exploring new places, and also enjoys watching thriller/mysterious TV series.

Sunil is a Biofabrication Master's student particularly interested in application of machine learning and Python based simulation in the research of Medical robotics system. For his Advance Module, currently he is working on developing an user interface for toxicity prediction of polymers using machine learning and the Tox 21 datasets.Apart from his academia, he works in Brainlab AG as a working student where he works in Surgical Robotics and Instruments R&D team and he enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing volleyball and table tennis

Henri Berntgen is a master’s student in molecular ecology with a deep appreciation for interdisciplinarity, both within and outside his academic pursuits. As an Artificial Intelligence teaching assistant, he helps students apply AI in ways that are useful for their own fields, fostering a broad understanding of AI's potential across disciplines. Outside of academics, Henri is passionate about learning Spanish, enjoys reading non-fiction, cooking, and staying active through various sports.

Janina is a master's student in materials science, specializing in property prediction of polymers using machine learning. She applies AI to generate optimized polymers for drug delivery. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, traveling around the world by bike, and learning new sports such as paragliding.

Naga Sai Teja is a computer science master's student focusing on Data Science, ML and Deep Learning (NLP, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning and Knowledge Graphs). He is passionate about exploring ML and AI-related concepts and enhancing the technical knowledge gained from his studies. He is also eager to learn new technologies and apply them to real-world problems. Outside his studies, he likes to play chess and chill with his friends.

Niklas is a bachelor student in chemistry with great interest in natural sciences and related topics such as electrical and materials engineering. His chemical background and passion for coding allow him to work in the interdisciplinary field of materials informatics. Niklas also works at the Fraunhofer Institute HTL where he focuses on ceramics. Besides university, Niklas enjoys bowling and engages in various other sporting activities. He also likes to spend time with friends, cooking and watching Sci-fi movies.

He has a strong interest in the practical application of machine learning and data analytics in polymer research. In addition to his academic pursuits, he has gained valuable professional experience at Cybex, where he has been actively involved in analyzing the impact behavior of polymer foams. Outside of his academic endeavors, he enjoys participating in analyzing stock market data, various sports activities, staying active, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Klinger Konstantin

Konstantin is a computer science master’s student and is particularly interested in the research and development of AI systems using machine learning. For his master's thesis, he is currently building a language user interface that assists material scientists in optimizing their experiment planning with the help of Bayesian Optimization. The knowledge he gained from his previous job as a research assistant at the chair for polymer engineering proves valuable to his current work. In his freetime cycling, reading, gaming and learning languages provide a balance to his academic life.
